What is Veterinary Physiotherapy?
Veterinary physiotherapy is a specialist form of treatment using a range of manual therapies, therapeutic treatment, electrotherapy and exercise programmes to help to maintain or restore mobility/function and to improve overall performance. It is widely recognised as an essential part in the treatment of animals and can help manage numerous issues from improving joint range of motion to enhancing overall balance and proprioception. Physiotherapy can also be used to aid recovery post-surgery or after an injury and to ensure general maintenance and well being of the animal.
